Common questions

How much does pickup and delivery cost?

Free. Always. No "free above $X." We pick up, we deliver — pickup itself doesn't cost you a cent. The order itself has a $30 minimum.

What's the price per pound for Wash & Fold?

$2.30 per pound for next-day. $2.50 per pound for same-day. 15-pound minimum on every order, $30 minimum. Recurring-pickup customers get 10% off W&F.

What's the minimum order?

Depends on the service. Pickup and delivery — any service — has a $30 minimum on the order itself. Drop-off Wash & Fold has a 15-pound minimum (about $34.50 at $2.30/lb). Walk-in dry cleaning, tailoring, and self-service machines have no minimum — pay per garment, item, or cycle.

What does "same-day" actually mean?

Your bag reaches us by noon — pickup or drop-off — and we have it back to you the same day. Return time is your choice: pick a delivery window when you schedule.

What's the cutoff for same-day pickup?

Noon. Drop off or book a pickup window between 7am and noon, and your bag is back the same day if you choose same-day service. After noon, it goes out next day.

What detergent do you use?

Premium hypoallergenic on every order, no upcharge. We also carry our own premium scented detergent, Tide and Tide with Downy.

How fast is dry cleaning?

Three days, every order, every garment.

What about tailoring?

Case-by-case turnaround. Hems and simple repairs are fast. Alterations and custom work take longer. We give you a real timeline at drop-off.

Do you deliver to my building?

Yes, if you're in one of our twelve neighborhoods: East Village, Stuy Town, Peter Cooper Village, the Lower East Side, Gramercy Park, Murray Hill, NoHo, SoHo, Greenwich Village, NYU, Alphabet City, Kips Bay, or Union Square. Every block. We have access to Stuy Town and PCV buildings; for others, we coordinate handoff with your doorman or in the lobby.

Where in my building do you leave the bag?

Door, lobby, or with your doorman — your call. You set the instruction when you book. We don't leave a bag where you didn't tell us to.

What if I'm not home?

That's exactly why we ask for the handoff instruction at booking. Door, lobby, or doorman. The instruction governs both pickup and delivery.

What if you lose or damage something?

File within 24 hours of delivery. Original Suds Buds receipt is required. Liability is capped at 10% of the order. Full terms at /terms.

How do I book?

Three ways. Online at /schedule, in our app, or via the booking link on our Google profile. All three feed CleanCloud — pick a service, pick a window, enter your address. Two minutes.

Can I just walk in?

Always. We're open 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week. The front desk handles drop-offs, pickups, machine help, and card refills.
