Welcome to Suds Buds Laundry LLC (“Suds Buds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including our website, www.sudsbuds.com (the “Site”). By scheduling, dropping off items, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Our Services

Suds Buds provides a range of garment care services, including but not limited to: Wash & Fold laundry, Dry Cleaning, Tailoring, Embroidery, and associated Pick-up and Delivery services (collectively, “Services”).

  1. Customer Responsibilities
  • General Garment Care: You are responsible for ensuring your items are suitable for the service requested. You agree to check all pockets for personal items before providing them to us. Suds Buds is not responsible for any items left in pockets that are lost or cause damage.
  • Dry Cleaning: You agree that certain delicate fabrics and pre-existing conditions carry inherent risks. We are not responsible for damage resulting from weak or defective materials, colorfastness, or undisclosed information about the garment’s history.
  • Tailoring & Embroidery: You must provide clear and specific instructions for all tailoring and embroidery work. We are not responsible for dissatisfaction if the work was completed according to your instructions. Completed work is considered final.
  • Pick-up & Delivery Service:
    • Scheduling: You must provide a secure and accessible location for pick-up and delivery.
    • Unattended Items (Revised): If you are not home and request that we leave your items (for either pick-up or delivery) at a doorway, with a concierge, or in any other unsecured location, you do so at your own risk. Suds Buds is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of items once they have been left at your specified location.
    • Missed Appointments (Revised): A fee of $5.00 will be charged for any missed or rescheduled pick-up/delivery appointments without at least 24 hours’ prior notice.
  1. Limitation of Liability

We exercise the utmost care in processing our customers’ articles. However, in the unlikely event of loss or damage, our total liability shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the total charge for the order in which the loss or damage occurred. This limitation applies to all Services provided. Any claims must be reported to Suds Buds, along with the original receipt, within twenty-four (24) hours of the delivery or pick-up of your order.

  1. Unclaimed Items (Revised)
  • Storage Fee: Any items not claimed within thirty (30) days of the scheduled pick-up or delivery date will be considered unclaimed. A storage fee of $50.00 will be assessed for any order that remains unclaimed after this thirty (30) day period.
  • Disposal of Items: In accordance with state law, any items remaining unclaimed for a period of six (6) months from the drop-off date will be considered abandoned and may be sold, donated to charity, or otherwise disposed of at our discretion without any liability to you.
  1. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services. For delivery orders, we may require payment information at the time the order is placed. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of an order until full payment, including any assessed fees, has been received.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Site. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
